About us

We, a passionate cow whisperer working in agriculture and an ambitious entrepreneur, both nature-loving and animal lovers, were able to fulfill our dream in 2020.

The former farmhouse with the adjoining salt house and almost 3 hectares of cultivated land was up for sale and became our project for the next 3 years.

After an intensive planning phase and countless ideas on how we could combine the old with the new, the go-ahead was given for the renovation in 2021. What the woodworm had not yet nibbled on was allowed to stay, the rest was professionally renovated. Today, we are still delighted with the result, grateful and happy to be able to live in a house where you can still feel the “old days”, but where the modern and unconventional “today” has also found its place. Charm and luxury – what a privilege!

With some delay, the interior work on the Salzhaus was also completed in the fall of 2024. Here, too, we have preserved the old and combined it with modern architecture. We are delighted to be able to present this gem to our guests. Surrounded by nature, cows, horses and the feeling of being welcome, you will enjoy our little paradise as much as we do. We are convinced of that.

Despite the close proximity of the two houses, it is important to us to offer our guests the privacy they deserve! With the Salzhaus, we have created a place where you can escape from everyday life, recharge your batteries and concentrate on the essentials without having to compromise on luxury.
